🩺 My Project Adventure:

I joined a small team focused on developing an app for a US medical startup, complementing their health-measuring device.

💡 My Role:

• Maintained direct interaction with the client through frequent meetings and demonstrations.
• Played a key role in shaping architecture, deployment, and design from the ground up.
• Took advantage of the opportunity to work in a greenfield environment.

🌱 Personal Growth:

This project enhanced my expertise with React Native and Expo packages, covering the entire development and deployment process.

Unfortunately, the project has been shut down due to budget cuts in the entire FX industry.

Responsibilities:

• Shaping the architecture and deployment process together with other developer
• Consulting UX/UI with the newly-formed design team

🚀 My Fintech Journey:

I was lucky enough to get in on the ground floor of building a brand-new, app-only bank in the Czech Republic. It was all about starting from scratch and getting to work on both iPhone and Android apps from day one.

🛠 The Work I Did:

• From the first line of code to the last test, I was there making sure our app worked like a charm.
• When it came time to go live, I was part of the team that made sure our launch was smooth and sweet.
• Used a bunch of cool tools like App Store Connect, TestFlight, and Google Play Console to help get our app out there.
• Worked side by side with the backend team, QA gurus, and project planners to keep making our app better and better.

🤝 Team Dynamics:

I joined the front-end team right at the start, where I got to help out the new folks and be a go-to for our junior developers.

🌱 Growing with Tech:

Along the way, I discovered React Native and it was a game-changer for me. It's a toolkit I'm really passionate about and I'm excited to keep growing my skills there.

▶️ Career Progression at Refresh:

Worked in a supportive environment at Refresh, gaining experience in various technologies. Assisted in managing several e-shops, including projects on Shopify and others utilizing GatsbyJS technology and APIs for product information.

🌐 Web Development Experience:

Contributed to developing various presentation websites, employing a potent combination of GatsbyJS and headless CMS (WordPress / Netlify CMS).

🔧 Notable Projects:

• Assisted in the creation of a Design System with Storybook and ReactJS, facilitating its adaptation into Angular and improving intranet application designs.
• Contributed to creating one of the first fully online contract renegotiation platforms with web-form signatures in the country for an energy company.
• Improved the appearance and functionality of Zendesk templates.

📱 Transition into Mobile App Development:

Transitioned full-time into developing a mobile app for a new Czech bank, representing a meaningful advancement in my career.

💺 Train Seat Reservation System:

Crafted a reservation system using JavaScript and CSS Grid, integrated with a custom WordPress plugin for enhanced backend functionalities and real-time reservations.

Developed a dynamic microsite to showcase company projects with a custom administration setup.

Created multiple microsites for a marketing agency, focusing on the transformation of design elements into functional code without frameworks.
